My Imaginings
[Submission is Intentional Trust]

I love this concept, and specifically worded in this way. While appropriate submission and dependency is required by all God’s children, Godly women today I am principally looking at us. We are called to be submissive in many careful ways and in many venues. With grace and love, our submission can be used to encourage and support others. The characteristics more commonly found in women are often powerfully used to assist the men in our lives..fathers, brothers, husbands. With that in mind, I am challenging the Type A, bold, driven, intelligent, active and engaged women to perform dutifully against your nature and learn to be submissive in love. Intentionally trust in God and in the men He surrounds us with. Submitting to the Lord is prudent and protects us from self-inflicted pain rather than the worldly belief that submission is weakness.

Verses I’ve reflected on:

 (James 4:7 NKJV)
(1 Peter 5:5 NKJV)
(Ephesians 5:22 NKJV)
